Keep your water softener system regenerating efficiently with this 100-litre Blue Brine Tank, specifically designed for use with ion-exchange water softener systems. The large-capacity food-grade polyethylene construction is completely corrosion-resistant and UV-stable, ensuring a long, maintenance-free service life. Supplied complete with a fitted black lid to prevent dust and evaporation, an internal brine tray, salt grid cups to support block salt above the water level, and a water level indicator so you can monitor brine level at a glance without opening the tank. The brine tank is used to store and dissolve salt, creating the concentrated brine solution that regenerates the ion-exchange resin in your softener vessel during each regeneration cycle — stripping accumulated hardness minerals (calcium and magnesium) from the resin and flushing them to drain.
