The UV lamp is the heart of your UV water sterilization system — the source of every germicidal dose that inactivates bacteria, viruses, and cysts in your water supply. UV-C output degrades invisibly over time: a lamp in service for 12–18 months may still glow but deliver less than half the germicidal energy required for effective disinfection. Replace annually every 9,000 hours regardless of visible condition. Specifications: 55 watts, 254nm peak germicidal wavelength, approximately 925mm lamp length, 4-pin single-end T5 base, dual voltage (110V and 220V), rated service life 9,000 hours (~12 months continuous), low-pressure mercury vapour T5 format, non-ozone generating glass, up to 99.99% microbial inactivation at rated flow and correct UV dose. Eliminates: E. coli, Salmonella, Listeria, Giardia, Cryptosporidium, Hepatitis A and B, Rotavirus, Cholera, Typhoid, Legionella, algae, fungi, and all known waterborne microorganisms.
