Riser Pipe with 1.05″ OD Including Top and Bottom Strainer

Description

Complete your FRP pressure vessel filtration or softening system with this essential 1.05″ OD riser pipe assembly, supplied with both a top distributor strainer and bottom distributor basket strainer. The riser pipe is the internal plumbing component that makes your FRP vessel work — directing water through the media bed during service and reversing flow during backwash cycles. During service: feed water enters the top, flows down through the media, treated water travels back up through the hollow riser pipe to exit via the control valve outlet. During backwash: flow reverses, water is pushed up through the media bed and out through the drain port, carrying dirt and fines to drain. The top twist-lock distributor strainer disperses feed water evenly across the full media bed diameter. The bottom basket strainer (0.010″–0.013″ fine mesh slot size) retains all standard filter media including sand, GAC, resin beads, Birm, Calcite, KDF, Katalox Light, and Greensand. Riser pipe is supplied in full length — cut to match your vessel internal depth minus 10–15mm for the basket strainer height.
